I. Introduction

Our Supplier Policy Manual Includes SumiRiko Ohio, Inc,, SumiRiko Tennessee, Inc., and S-Riko Automotive Hose de Chihuahua, S.A.P.I. de C.V., (hereinafter referred to as “Company” or “the Company” or “Company’s”)

Our Company Quality Policy states:

“We are Dedicated to Customer Satisfaction through Continuous Quality Improvement.”

Our Company goal is to provide products and services that meet and/or exceed our customer’s expectations. We must continue to improve our products and services as well as reduce cost and waste at all levels.

Our Company suppliers are an integral part of achieving customer satisfaction and continuous quality improvement. As part of our team, our suppliers have committed to working together to meet these goals and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship.

Our Company requires its suppliers to be certified to the TS-16949 Technical Specification for Quality Management Systems or the ISO9001 Quality Management Systems. We are committed to using the TS-16949 Standard to help its suppliers develop their quality systems. The fundamental guidelines set forth in this manual are based upon the requirements of the TS-16949 Standard. All suppliers must follow these requirements.

  1. Suppliers must follow the TS-16949 Standard when developing any quality procedures or systems within their facility.
  2. Suppliers must review the Company’s specific requirements to ensure they understand and can meet these requirements.

In addition to the above requirements, suppliers who are not at a minimum registered to ISO9001 by an accredited third-party certification body meet the following requirements:

  1. The Supplier must submit a waiver for quality system registration to our Company for approval. The waiver can be found in the forms section of this manual.
  2. Our Company may conduct system and/or process audits to determine compliance to standards.

If Suppliers are not certified to TS-16949, they are subject to a third-party audit at the supplier’s expense. The selection of the third party organization is at the discretion of SumiRiko Ohio, Inc., SumiRiko Tennessee, Inc., and S-Riko Automotive Hose de Chihuahua, S.A.P.I. de C.V., and/or our customer.

Suppliers are expected to adhere to all applicable governmental laws and regulations. All product supplied must satisfy current governmental and safety constraints for restricted, toxic and hazardous materials. Suppliers must also meet all environmental, electrical and electromagnetic considerations applicable to the country of manufacture and sale. Suppliers must submit this information as requested on the Part Submission Warrant with IMDS submissions and report numbers.
